Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!! It was a BUSY day for us, but a great day!! Momma FINALLY got out and did MOST of the errands that I had wanted to accomplish last weekend, so in that I felt pretty productive!! One of the errands I needed to do was get pumpkins. We got little guys from the pumpkin patch last weekend, but we needed ones for Keith and I. Mental note: Don't wait until the day of Halloween to buy pumpkins! :) Thankfully I found some at a little stand on the side of the road in Raleigh!

This afternoon we carved FOUR pumpkins and Reaggie watched the whole thing! It was pretty cute! Now you might be wondering, why with all of her Halloween outfits does she have on a Phillies outfit today...well you see she had a minor accident in the diaper about 10 minutes after she got dressed that just forced an outfit change to the Phillies gear :) She wanted to get her hands on all the guts VERY badly, sorry!! Keith did his design free hand, I used a little stencil thing, I did Reagan's, and Keith designed Bailey's. They are not masterpieces by any means, but they were just what we wanted!

Reagan looked SO cute in her LADYBUG costume!! (Yes the winner was my favorite choice as well!) We started out trick or treating with some neighborhood friends, but they were moving a little to quick for us! :) We just went up the street and back, but Reagan was the cutest ladybug I saw! I love seeing all of the kid's costumes, some are too adorable!

We can already picture next year when Reaggie is waddling towards someones house and holding out her little pumpkin for candy. It will be so cute!! We saw a couple little kiddos that looked to be about 1 1/2 and were TOO cute!

Oh and please notice Keith's lovely attire for the night...haha!! I remember we bought this a few years ago for a work party that he had..."thankfully" he was able to find it tonight! It was a hit! ;)

Oh YES...Bailey was dressed up in his annual costume as well! The kids get such a kick out of him!

It was a great first Halloween with a baby! Having a child really gave Halloween a whole new level of fun :) It gets me even MORE EXCITED for Christmas to come now too!!

Happy Anniversary!

It's hard to believe that 3 years ago today Keith and I got married! I remember, most of it, like it was yesterday, I remember smiling A LOT! :) The weather wasn't perfect, but that was okay. My flowers had bows, which I didn't want, but that was okay. Things that normally would have bothered me were no problem...I was getting MARRIED to my Keiffer! :)

I talked to my brother today and after he said "Happy Anniversary" I said to him, "and happy three year anniversary to you passing out at my wedding." haha!! Yes...just as Keith was about to say his vows, BOOM goes Michael onto the stone floor of the church. Thankfully he was fine, just caused a little extra excitment! :)

I loved our first dance! We danced to "Just the Way you Look Tonight" the Frank Sinatra version. We took dance lessons and everything. Poor Keith was more nervous about the dance than anything else. It was classic too because as we were dancing you could tell he was concentrating so hard and counting the steps out...he did a great job!!

It was just such a great day with so many family and friends there to share the day with us! It was wonderful!! Your wedding day is one that you think of and dream of your whole life...while it was stressful to plan because I wanted it just PERFECT, it was all worth it and a day I love thinking about and remembering!

I love you Keith! :)

Halloween Preview Day #4

Last, but not least...a little outfit from Aunt Kristin! :) Reaggie did have in a matching hairbow, but somehow that was missing for the pictures!

Reagan is really interested in Bailey lately...she has always "liked" him, but she is now reaching for him, petting him, pulling his hair (which he is fine with, thank goodness!), and laughs SOO hard when he gives her kisses!! It's so cute! :)

Halloween Preview Day #3

Yesterday Reagan wore outfit #3! This is a shirt I bought her with
Aunt Ellen in Colorado last January! Sweet girl!

Pumpkin Patch!

Today we made a trip to the pumpkin patch and HOLY COW...we had no idea it would be the Disney World of pumpkin patches! I was picturing a small farm...we got there and they had 10 guys directing traffic and there were people everywhere!! It was a lot of fun though! Reags was just taking it all in, staring at everything. She had her first hayride and picked out her own pumpkin! Big news is Keith toted Reaggie around in the Bjourn...a first! We kept saying how next year Reagan would love the little "hay maze," going down the HUGE slide, and feeding the ducks! They had a TON to do there...it was really cute!!!

Reaggie relaxing with the pumpkins!! She thought her gloves were a little more exciting I guess!

What a Day!

SO today was just one of "those days." It was to be "Mommy's Day Out!" and I was sooo looking forward to it. I met my friend Heather downtown to go to the Shopping Spree hosted by the Junior League! It was soooo cute and had great stuff! It took SERIOUS will-power to not buy everything! Stupid me tried to wear a cute pair of shoes that have now landed me HUGE blisters on the back of my heel, I mean they really look like tumors...HUGE!! So that was fun. While we were finishing up shopping Keith called me and told me he found a flea on Bailey. GREAT! Keith was researching all about that and calling the vet to see what to do. I sat in TONS of traffic downtown trying to get home to be with Reags while she slept so Keith could go to the store to get flea stuff. FINALLY got home, Keith went out and bought powder, shampoo, you name it and had to put that all over the house and wash all sheets, duvets, the works. Keith had planned on cooking a nice dinner for us to celebrate our anniversary a little early and still did in the midst of de-fleaing our house! :) I was playing with my sweet, sweet baby while Keith was cooking. I was holding her up in the air and she was laughing at me like it was the funniest thing in the world. WELL the next thing I know she SPIT UP all over my face and IN MY MOUTH!! GAG!!!!!!!!!!! I yelled KEITH!!! He came and got Reags and I ran to the sink to wash up a bit...yum! I had a lovely perfume of "spit up" during our nice filet dinner! Doesn't it all just sound great!?! While none of this is terrible at all....it was just one of those days!!

Trip to the Park!

Today is SUCH A BEAUTIFUL day in the NC state! The weather is in the low 70's and not a cloud in the sky, perfect!! Reagan is just getting over her first little cold, so I figured some fresh air would be the perfect thing to kick it all out of her system!

We went to the little park right in our town and I put her in the swing, which she really liked! I gave her little pushes, not nearly as big as the little boy next to her was getting from his mom. She just watched, more like stared, at this little boy go back and forth. SO CUTE!
I took her over to the slide as well and just held her to go down 1/2 of it. There were "big girls" playing on it too, they were probably 3 years old, and Reagan just gazed at them too going down all by themselves. It's like Reagan was thinking, come on mom, why can't I go by myself?!?!

A mom at the park today asked me how old my baby was and I told her 4 1/2 months...where does the time go!? She too told me to ENJOY every second!! I am truly trying to just soak in every second with her...I hold her a few extra minutes after I rock her to sleep for a nap or bedtime, just to stare at her! She is getting bigger by the day!!

Halloween Preview Day #1

"Mommy, I'm smiling! Take the picture already!!"

Being that it's Reagan's first Halloween, she has been given a couple cute little outfits and, I have to admit, I bought her this one and then another shirt before she was born!! I thought she has to atleast get a couple wears out of these outfits before they get packed away, so here is preview #1 of her outfit!

Watching TV

On Sunday I got Reags dressed, put her in the chair for a second and she adjusted herself comfortably to watch a little tv! Cracked me up!! Reagan is mesmorized by the tv, she loves it!! She'll watch anything and everything!

I Like Rice!

say cheese!

Today Reagan had her first taste of solid food...rice! She did well with all 1 tablespoon of it! The doctor told me at her 4 month appointment to give her rice for about 2 weeks and then start with the veggies!! Reagan even thinks she is so big and needs to help us put the spoon in her mouth! I can hardly stand it :) Now I just need to figure out how much to give her, how to adjust her bottles...all that fun stuff!

Baby It's Cold Outside

It has been CHILLY the past several days...even colder in the PA state!! Reagan was all bundled up to leave for the car ride back to NC! She was too cute in her little hat and gloves!

Reading with GG

On Sunday morning before church GG was reading to Reagan, it was pretty cute!

Now this was Monday morning...the TV was turned on and I think that was a little bit more exciting than "I Love You Stinky Face" to Reagan! Soon she will know what a GREAT book that is!

One Year Ago Today

Not only was today such a special day because of Reagan's baptism, but it was also the one year anniversary of Keith and I finding out I was pregnant!!! I can't believe it was a year ago already that I found out I was pregnant. I will NEVER forget how I felt that day...I thought I was looking at the test incorrectly!! NO WAY was I really pregnant!?!?!?!

I know I wrote the story last year, but for the newer readers, I will do it all again...

Keith was staining the deck last year on Saturday, October 11 and I was upstairs cleaning and doing laundry. I was about to start a medicine that made me have a period (sorry TMI!) and I had to take a pregnancy test before taking it, just to be on the safe side. Well I was all mad that I even had to spend $14 on the tests because I just knew there was no way! I took the test, left it in the bathroom, did laundry, cleaned, and about 30 minutes later went back and looked at it! OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TWO LINES!! I went down and showed Keith and he just looked at the test saying, "so what does this mean?" and I said "it means we're having a BABY!!!!" We just hugged and cried and were so excited. However, before we told anyone we wanted to go to the doctor to be sure! It was SOOO exciting and SOOO hard to believe! I will NEVER forget that day! Whenever I find out I am pregnant again I know I will be excited, but finding out that very first time, I think will always be sooo memorable!!

Special Day!

Today was a very special day for our family, Reagan was baptized! We had her baptism at my Gran's church in Westminster. It was sooo nice and just the perfect day! We had family and friends there to share in her special day and it was so nice!! Reagan was such a good girl in church, for the most part, and even didn't mind getting water on her head! She much preferred the party afterwards though :) All in all it was a great day!! Thank you so much to everyone for coming and to my mom and Gran for all of your help!! It was a GREAT day!!
