Happy Thanksgiving!

I can't believe that Thanksgiving has already come and gone...the Christmas season is officially in FULL swing!! :)

We had a great Thanksgiving "week."  Reags and I flew up on Wednesday morning, which worked out great!  OF COURSE, she was up from 1:30-3:30 that morning when we had to get up around 5 to head to the airport, so that was fun, but we made it.  Wednesday was a relaxing day of nothing and running to Wal-mart with Jamie!
Sitting in her own "big girl" seat on the plane!  (We got lucky and had an extra seat in our row, which was occupied by little miss of course!)

Jamie being festive in Wal-mart!

Enjoying an oreo in milk after dinner...ha!

Thanksgiving Day we were lucky to be able to relax all day!  We weren't going to my aunt and uncle's until later that afternoon, so we literally played with Reagan, I made a couple desserts, and relaxed!  It was wonderful.  We had a delicious dinner and had fun seeing family that we haven't seen in WAY too long.

Reagan wanted to do some Black Friday shopping

Family shot :)

I think she was running laps at this point...throwing a ball and chasing it...I think she watches Bailey a little too closely!

I didn't venture out on Black Friday this year...I just couldn't bring myself to do it!  Between getting up at an ungodly hour and having to deal with crowds, I just wasn't feeling it.  Maybe next year :)  We did get to meet up with Heather though to get our Christmas card pictures taken...thanks Heath!!

It was so fun on Saturday to go out to dinner with some friends from high school.  We were supposed to have our 10 year reunion that night, but lack of ticket sales cancelled that.  I was so bummed!  However, it was great to go to dinner and catch up with great friends!  It's funny how it has been so long, but felt like we were sitting in high school yesterday.  We had a great time!

We got back early this afternoon and unpacked, did laundry (all the fun stuff), and went to get our Christmas tree.  Decorating is on the agenda for tomorrow night!  :)

Overall it was a wonderful few days!!  Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well!

1/2 Day Week!

This week has been exhausting...I have had to work a 1/2 day.  :)  (I'm obviously kidding!)  Wendy called at 4:30am on Monday to tell me she had been up with her daughter all night with the stomach bug...no fun!  So bummer, Momma had to stay home with Reags on Monday!  We went to the park, went on a walk, played outside, and ran a couple errands...we had such a great day!

Swinging on the "wee, wee"

Collecting leaves, leaves, and more leaves!

Thrilled to take a picture with me :)

Today Keith stayed home in the morning and then I took a 1/2 day and came home for the "afternoon shift."  ha!  It worked out perfectly!  Keith and Reags went to the park, came to visit Mommy at work, and played with Keith's shoes...haha...Reaggie is WAY into putting on shoes now!  She even requested her boots the other night, it was pretty cute!

Wish this wasn't so fuzzy, but cute anyway!

I can't believe Thanksgiving is just a couple days away!  We all have SO much to be thankful for!  Reaggie and I are flying home in the morning...thanks Mom!  Poor Keith will be driving home, but he'll have Bailey to keep him company!  Have a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving!!

It's Beginning to Look a LOT Like Christmas...

This was the weekend of Christmas deocrating and it was so fun!  SO very different than last year when I had this little almost 6 month old that just SAT on the floor! :)  haha!!  Reags had so much fun helping though and LOVES all the lights!!  She also goes up to all of the stockings and names who each one belongs to..."dada, mama, Reaggie, Bay."  Love it!

Reaggie and Keith spent some time together doing a little Christmas shopping on Saturday! :)  It was a big game for State, so of course RMK had to be in her red and white gear.

After Reaggie's nap we put up her Christmas tree...oh.my.word!  She was so sweet helping and is just obsessed with it.  She wakes up in the morning saying "tree, tree."

Decorating!

Showing off her pretty "ink" (pink) ornaments.

Pictures

Another work week has come and gone and just two days to go until Thanksgiving break!  Yahoo!!  Here are a couple pictures of our cutie from the week!

Ready to "go" to Miss Wendy's!

Running, obviously...

Catching her breath!

So this 17 month old is REALLY working hard on taking clothes off and putting them on!  Tonight, she opted for the one shoulder look...very fashionable!

And what better way to spend a Friday night than watching Dora and snuggling with Daddy...poor Bailey!

Have a great weekend!

Fun Weekend

Another weekend has come and gone, VERY quickly I might add!!  Here is our weekend in pictures!

On Thursday both Keith and I had the day off for Veteran's Day.  It was a wonderful day off!  Keith played golf and Reags and I went to lunch and shopping with my friend, Heather (aka Taxis!).  It was so fun!  We picked up this fun new pair of pj's that Reagan is now IN LOVE with!  Anytime you say Santa you will hear Reags chiming in with "ho, ho, ho!"  We only have 40 some odd days until Christmas, so we had to get going with Christmas words!

Reagan is obsessed with putting on my shoes lately...it's hilarious!

T-R-O-U-B-L-E!

Saturday morning Keith had a soccer game, so Reagan and I had a girls morning.  We hung out at home, played, FINALLY switched out SOME of my fall/winter things in my closet (which Reagan just climbed all over my bins!), we went to the park, and then the grocery store.  Woo-hoo! :)  I wish I had taken my camera with me to the park...Reagan wanted to swing for a LONG time, but I finally took her off to walk on the path.  She loved it!  We walked all the way around and she kept picking up the leaves and was very proud of herself when she got a big one.  It was one of those memories I don't think I'll ever forget.  Just walking along, taking in the beautiful scenery and the innocent laughter of a toddler...too precious!

Relaxing and reading Saturday morning!

After Reagan's nap, Keith took her outside to play in the leaves.  She had more fun picking up leaves and putting them in her buckets than "jumping" into the pile.  It was so sweet to watch!

Of course a Saturday wouldn't be complete without a little Morgan time.  They had a lovely little tea party together :)

Morgan and Margaret came over for dinner on Saturday night...Keith made a fabulous dinner for us!!  Yum!  It was a fun night and nice to eat a yummy dinner, but still be in your sweats and sweatshirt!

This morning we went to church with the Mills....I couldn't help but snap a few pictures before we left!

We swung by Target after church...

and then onto the Carolina Ale House for lunch.  The weather is GEORGOUS today.  The girls sat and ate their lunch and then wanted to play outside...our table was on the patio, so the "yard" was right next to our table.  They had SO much fun together!

Morgan's cornhold bean bag bucket

Reagan (aka jumper) liked jumping off the side

Playing with the bucket!

It was such a great weekend!!  We had so much fun together...hard to believe only one more weekend and then it's Thanksgiving, which means a nice little break!

Charlotte Fun

On Friday morning I dropped Reagan off at Miss Wendy's, went to school, went to a meeting, stopped at New Hope to see wonderful old friends and kiddos, and was on my way to Charlotte!!!  My good friend, Hillary, had her birthday on Friday and also happened to get engaged a couple weeks ago!  This was the first time I've gone away without Reagan, with Keith watching her.  They had a great time together...Keith was very excited for his weekend!

Hill ordered these adorable cookies as a way of asking for me to be in the wedding!  How adorable?!?!  I am so excited for Hill and Kevin!

We spent Saturday afternoon trying on wedding dresses and Hillary looked georgous in all of them!  It brought back so many memories :)

Saturday was our night out on the town!  Me, Hill, and Starks
(The 3 of us used to have some VERY good times in Raleigh together!)

The birthday girl/bride and I!

It was such a fun weekend!  I was thankful for the time change so that I could get home nice and early to this little girl!

Can you just hear her saying "cheeeeese" in this one?!

Not the best pic, but she is rockin' her boots!  She LOVED them!!

Time Out

You guessed it...Reagan had her first time out yesterday!  I was gone Friday night and Saturday night (weekend post coming tonight!) and we'll go ahead and say she was super excited to see Mommy when I got home.  She was so huggy and lovey and it just melted my heart to see how excited she was when I got home...it made getting up at 5:30 to do the drive seem to make sense! :)

Well we were playing on the sofa and out of no where she tried to bite my leg...I said "NO", she tried again and again, then there was the "tap" on my face...THAT was it!  Momma picked that sweet little girl up and plopped in the corner.  I explained to her why she was in time out and that she had to sit there until Mommy said she could get up.  Much to our surprise, she actually SAT!  It was pretty hilarious actually because she was just sitting there, eyes going back and forth as though she was thinking, what is this?!  Keith and I had to turn our backs because we were laughing so hard.  After a little over a minute-ish I went over to tell her that she needed to be a nice girl and give kisses.  So she gave me a kiss and on we went with the rest of our day.

Anyway, just kind of funny!  I'm sure this is ONLY the BEGINNING of time outs!! :)

17 Months!

SOOO big!

Today Reagan is 17 months old...just one more month and we are half way to two!!  I can't believe it!!  (as I know I say each month!)

Reagan is so busy these days!  She LOVES to read books, play with her blocks, push her baby in her stroller, love her baby, climb up on the kitchen chairs, crawl on our bed, climb up the steps, run around outside, sing "ABC's," dance, watch TV, snuggle in the mornings, coloring with crayons, saying "two," pulling zippers up and down, up and down, up and down!, and the list goes on and on!!!

Does she get this look honest? :)

Reags has really been starting to talk a lot more everyday.  I feel like she is just taking off with her words.  I can't even begin to type all of the words that she knows, but she is starting to even combine two words together.  "Help me" is her current favorite!  It's also funny when we watch The Fresh Beat Band she will now say "ate ay" which I'm assuming is "great day,"  their catchy little ending song.

The best is getting Reagan up in the morning.  If Keith goes in to get her you hear, "DA! DA!" echoing throughout the house and the same for "MA! MA!"  It's so sweet and she loves to come snuggle in bed with us in the morning to watch her shows.  ESPECIALLY Kai-Lan, which has been the case for MONTHS now!  I have finally gotten smart and just DVR every Kai-Lan so that we have it.  Thank goodness because Reags has been sleeping until 7:00 or a little later, which makes her miss "Kuh-Lan."

What else?!  Reags is a great eater.  If she doesn't want something she has no problem telling you "no."  She loves fruit, toast, bread, spaghetti or ANY pasta, chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, hot dogs, london broil, roasted potatoes, chicken dipped in apple sauce, and "m's."  She loves to have a few "m's" especially if she sees Momma sneak a few!  Our little monkey is FINALLY starting to like a sweet or two....I know most mom's don't want their kids to eat sweets, but I just think it's cute...PLUS, I have the biggest sweet tooth ever, so it's bound to keep developing.

Oh, dancing!  Reagan loves to dance...she is hilarious.  She loves "Stuck like Glue" by Sugarland, I can't even count the number of times we have listened to that.  Apparently she likes Justin Beiber too because when you say "whoa-oh-oh-oh whoa oh-oh-ohhhh" Reagan will chime in with "bay-be, bay-be, miiiine."  I feel like it's something I need to send into the Ellen DeGeneres show you know? :)  It's pretty cute!

Some Stats:
Weight:  I'm assuming probably around 27 or 28 pounds.
Diaper:  Size 5
Clothes:  24 months - 2T, but it totally depends on the brand.  A lot of 24 months are still too long!

With this age comes some fits I do believe...we are starting to get into throwing a little tantrum if she doesn't get what she wants, but the power of distraction is a BEAUTIFUL thing!

The joy that this little girl brings to our life is unexplainable!  She is just such a precious addition to our family and we can't believe how big she is getting!!  It is pretty impossible to be in a bad mood when you are surrounded by her contagiously happy self!

We love you SOOOO much Reagan Mae!!
