Too Many Pictures??

Question to the blogging world...tonight I was trying to upload more pictures of Reagan making brownies and it said that I have used up all of my picture space!  WHAT??  So do I really need to buy more space?  I don't want to get scammed into anything!  Let me know if this has happened to you :)  Thank you!!

Good News = Brownie Time!

We got some GREAT news in the mail today...Reagan got into preschool for the fall!!!  I was SOOO nervous because this specific school only had 5 slots available, we are SO excited and feel so fortunate.  She will be just over 2 when the program begins, so it is technically still a "mother's morning out," rather than real deal "preschool," but this momma is FINE with that!  It's doesn't make her sound like she is quite as old!  She will go two mornings a week for three hours each day, perfect!

We were so excited and Reags kept saying "cool," as in school!  We decided to make some brownies to celebrate...sure, any excuse to make brownies I'm all over it!

As Reags was mixy mixin' she discovered that she can put her finger in and taste the batter...smart girl!  I'm sure she has seen her mommy do that a few hundred times as well!

I am so glad that is set for Reagan...I think she will really enjoy the social interaction!

Weekend Highlights!

Another weekend has passed and it was a great one!  Nothing too exciting, but it was just a fun weekend.  Saturday morning Keith had a soccer game, so Reags and I got some things done around the house, she took a bubble bath, and we decorated for Valentine's Day.  She was too cute getting the decorations out, she was dancing all over the place.!! (It's not like I have a lot of decor for V-day, but the few things we put up she loved!  Especially in her room...all my lovely classroom decorations from the past are coming in handy!)

First bubble bath with fancy pink Dora bubbles! :)

Obviously the haircut was on Saturday!

On Saturday night I went out with some girls from school.  We went out to dinner and then everyone else went out for karaoke, but this momma excused herself to come home....ha!  Am I fun or what?

This afternoon we went out to lunch with the Mills.  The girls were cute...Reags of course wanted some of Mo-Mo's "cheese," so thankfully when she was full she shared the rest!  Mo wanted to feed Reaggie too, it was pretty sweet.  (So picture this...I was sitting next to Reagan and across the table was Keith, Margaret, and Darin...as Morgan was feeding Reagan I gave Keith our camera, Darin and Margaret had their phones up...all taking pictures of this.  Reagan, after chewing her bite, looks at everyone and says "cheese" and smiled all big...it was hilarious!)

Overall, just a great weekend!  Hope yours was too!

First Haircut!!

Well we finally did it...I didn't bail on this appointment! We took Reagan on Saturday afternoon to J.J's Kids Kuts and it was great! They have videos for the kids to watch and Reagan sat in a car, she was excited to "drive." Her haircut took all of about 5 minutes, but it looks great! Evened out the back nicely and got rid of the mullet that had developed!  I didn't cry, but I welled with tears...no bottle, preschool registration, and haircut all in one week...phew!

They had a great play area that Reagan didn't want to leave after she was finished!  Overall, it was a great first haircut experience.  Baby hair just needs to be put in the baby book now, another milestone...check!

Ready to get this thing started...

See the hair in the clip!?

There it goes!

Such a good girl and thank goodness for the binky!

Does she know she is cute or what? :)

All done!

Play time!

Bye Bye Ba-Ba!

As much as it pains me to say this, we are now officially finished with the bottle...you see, I have very mixed feelings about this...Reagan is 19 months, almost 20, so I realize it is time to cut off the bottle, but I just loved our little snuggle time before bed and she just loved her "ba-ba."  I had talked to Wendy, our wonderful babysitter, a couple weeks ago how I knew it was time, I just needed to get the nerve up to do it.  (Kind of like when I finally put Reags in her crib and she no longer slept in her carseat....which PS if this baby likes the carseat, I will SO do that again!!)  Anyway, on Tuesday Wendy put Reags down for her nap with NO ba-ba!  When she told me on Tuesday afternoon I literally started crying, but a good cry.  Sweet Reags is going to have many transitions coming up getting ready for this baby brother or sister to arrive, so we might as well ease our way into them.  She is doing really great...each night has gotten easier with no bottle.  We read books, snuggle, sing songs, and last night she even said "bed mommy."  My sweet girl!  I know this is what happens as they get older, but I feel like she just had her first bottle...mommy denial time. :)

I am also dropping off Reagan's preschool registration this morning for the fall (yes, registration is NOW for most preschools, so if you are thinking about it for the fall, look now!) and hopefully making her a haircut appointment for tomorrow...I just can't take it!  However, with time comes change, as my Gran and Gramps always say! :)

It's FRIDAY!!  I hope you have a GREAT weekend!! :)

A Visit to the STL!

On Thursday night we headed out to St. Louis for our much anticipated visit with the Johnson crew!!  We were so excited!!

I left school just a little early on Thursday to come home to wrap up our packing, making sure I had everything.  I had an extra outfit out for Reagan, but decided just to keep it on her dresser.....needless to say I got to Wendy's and of course, for the first time in MONTHS, Reagan decided to have a little "excess" in her diaper that went everywhere!  Doesn't it figure?!  Anyway...I just grabbed an outfit out of her suitcase and we were good to go!

We had a great flight, non-stop, to St. Louis and Reags did great!  Thank goodness for Dora and Kai-Lan movies :)  She colored, ate, watched movies, we read books...life was just not stressful at all for this little girl!

The headphones didn't last long, but does it get any better?! :)

On Friday morning we relaxed for awhile, then got ready to head to Five Guys to see BJ!  We got a delicious lunch and Connor was excited to see his "Unc Bij."  (That is what Reags calls BJ and Connor started calling him that too...on BJ's way home he said to Elle, "please tell me why my son is calling me Unc Bij!"  It was pretty funny!)  The kiddos took good naps and Friday night....

...the mommas and daddies went OUT!  Elle's sweet cousin and her friend came over to babysit and the kiddos had a blast!  They did great and we had a great night out to dinner!  Of course we are SUPER fun and were home by like 8:30, BUT it was still a great time!!

Love her!!

Saturday Elle and I were up and at 'em for a fun filled day of shopping!!  We hit up a local mall and got some GREAT deals!  We shopped like we had money to burn, but it was so fun!  The highlight of my day, well there were a few, one being my pink snuggie for $6.30!!!!!!!!!!!!, some cute outfits for RMK and CFJ, and Elle's mis-matched earrings!  Oh my...hilarious!!  I would just keep looking at my sweet best friend and laughing hysterically because of the earrings...guess you had to be there, but it made my day! :)  We both bought fun and trendy, I might add, outfits to wear to dinner that night.  SOMEHOW we didn't get a picture of us!  Elle had on her skinny jeans and new tall boots and I had on my leggings with new black boots...we were pretty cute strutting into Maggiano's for dinner! :)  We invited the boys and the kiddos to go, but they said for just us to go and we didn't argue!  It was so much fun!!

Sunday was another day of relaxing and Connor and Reags playing!  The boys went to the casino and didn't lose any money, which is always a good thing!  We got to see sweet Amy too!  Amy was my FIRST friend at Elon!  I haven't seen her since we graduated, so it was SO great to see her!!  :) We hung out, ran to the mall one last time, then headed to Nannie's house (Elle's mom) for dinner.  I hadn't seen her house since all of her renovations and it looked WONDERFUL!!!  Elle and Miss Donna were also nice enough to do a little monogramming for me too!!  (Thank you!!)

Monday morning we were up bright and early to head to the airport!  Reags was sporting her new adorable backback (Dura pack-pack) from Aunt Elle...I wish I had a picture of the back...I'll have to take one, it's PRECIOUS!!!  Reags LOVES it!

Ready for the airplane!

Reagan and Connor = future husband and wife! ;)

It was SUCH a wondeful trip and I was SO happy to see Elle, her family, and their adorable new house!!  Thank you SO much Johnsons for having us!!!  We can't wait to see you again soon :)

Snow Day and Pigtails

This week the weather has been "bad" in NC...not so much in our town, but around us.  They dismissed school 2 1/2 hours early on Monday, (before anything even started) yesterday we were off, (due to ice, we didn't get any snow here!) and today we had a 2 hour delay.  (I was secretly hoping for no school today, but this is one less make up day.)  ANYWAY...Reags and I had a great snow day!  We hung out in our pjs all day...I changed her out of her jammies to take her "big sister" pictures and then back into pjs she went!  We played, watched tv, snuggled, worked on puzzles, all kinds of fun stuff.

Bailey enjoyed the snow day as well!  He is a closet kitty cat we think because he loves snuggling in warm places!

Today Reagan's hair was all over the place...seriously, I NEED to get that girl's haircut...it's time!  SO we went for pigtails today.  I sat Reags on our bathroom counter to do her hair and she was just smiling at herself in the mirror as I told her how cute she looked...is this bad!? :)

Guess What?!?!

Reagan just wanted to let you know that....

(Thank you Aunt Ellen for the PRECIOUS shirt!!)

YUP!!  She is going to be a BIG SISTER!!

If you look at my previous post, "Timeline," you'll see just that, a timeline!  I am due on July 26th and we are SOOOO excited!!

Timeline!

Baby K #2 Timeline!!

Friday, November 12 - Took a pregnancy test and THOUGHT we saw a LIGHT plus sign!  Didn't get too excited though because I was sure that I was seeing things!!  (However, I go with this as the "official" date of finding out....11/12.  We found out with Reagan on 10/11....now if we ever have a 3rd baby and I find out on 12/13 that would just be WEIRD!!)

Sunday, November 14 - I got up at 5:30am on a Sunday to take a "pregnant"-"not pregnant" test and saw PREGNANT!!!!  I ran into bed with the test to show Keith, who was very excited, but half asleep!! :)

Monday, November 15 - Called the doctor to schedule my "confirmation" appointment!

Thursday, November 18 - Went to the doctor for confirmation and that is what we got!  Right now the doctor is thinking a due date of July 12th-ish.  I go back on December 1 for an ultrasound to see exactly how far along I am and to find out the due date!!  I am 6-ish weeks along :)

Exhausted after finding out the OFFICIAL word that she is going to be a BIG SISTER!!

Wednesday, December 1 - Went for my nurse visit, which also included an ultrasound to get an exact due date.  Internal ultrasounds are a lot of fun, especially when your uterus is against your back. :)  The best measurement that the oh so friendly ultrasound tech. could get was 6 weeks along, which is less than we thought.  The new due date is July 28, which is Keith's birthday!!  However, we saw a beautiful little heartbeat pattering away, which is the best thing to see!  Apparently everything looked "fine," but they wanted me to come back in a couple weeks just to make sure everything was still measuring correctly.  Of course, this caused BIG tears...I am just nervous and want everything to be okay and for this baby to be healthy and growing!!  Back we go on Monday, December 20!

Tuesday, December 7 - OH MY WORD!!!  I keep telling myself it is a good thing to not be feeling well...it means the baby is getting nice and settled in there for the long haul!  HOWEVER, I have been feeling sooooooooooo sick!  I have not gotten sick, but feel SO nauseous!!!  My appetite comes and goes, which for me is devastating!  The mornings and the nights are the worst...I am just exhausted and feel blah!  I know this is normal and that is great, but this is just much different than I remember feeling with Reags.  So does that mean it's a boy!? :)

Monday, December 20 - GREAT ULTRASOUND today!!  What a relief!!  My stomach hurt the whole way there today, but everything looks great!  Today I measured at 8 weeks and 5/6 days.  Perfect!  The heartbeat sounded perfect at 147 and we couldn't be more thankful!  Here are some pictures of our rapidly growing peanut!  The little arms and legs are just buds at this point, but it's so sweet.  Oh the news that we did get today was that part of the placenta is on my cervix, I guess that's not a big deal, but if it stays that way I'll have to have a c-section.  As long as the baby and I are healthy, I don't care either way!  I know what it is like to have a "natural" childbirth! ha! :)

Wednesday, January 5 - Back to the doctor I went for my monthly appointment.  Met with my FAVORITE doctor and he adjusted my due date now to July 26...we might still say the 28 for Keith though! :)  I had to have a few tests done and that was that.  I didn't get to hear the heartbeat because it is still just a little too early to hear it using the doppler, but by next time it should be no problem!

Monday, January 10 - TWELVE WEEKS!!  Today is the day!!  Our little munchkin is growing and Momma is starting to feel like a human again!  Praise the Lord!  We are getting excited about this new little munchkin, but I have to say I still can't quite believe I am going to be a Mom of TWO! :)

Low Key Weekend

What a relaxing weekend we had!  I don't even remember what we did, but I know it wasn't a lot of anything...

Earlier last week I had scheduled Reagan to get her FIRST haircut for Saturday morning.  Saturday morning came and I a) chickened out, I'm just not ready to cut that mullet!! and b) I just didn't feel like it!  Clearly Keith didn't really care either way, SO that was that.  We did run a couple errands Saturday morning and then just relaxed all Saturday afternoon and enjoyed a win for the Pack!

Sunday we went to church, I ran a couple errands, and again it was a relaxing afternoon.  The Mills came over for dinner, but I was just not feeling the whole "cooking dinner thing," SO we got Jersey Mike's, which was DELISH!  Totally hit the spot!  ...and sadly watched the Eagles lose their shot at the Super Bowl this year...on a happier note though, Reagan LOVES when we sing the Eagles fight song to her!  She dances and prances around...it's hilarious!

Having an afternoon dance with Daddy!

Dancing with "two babies"

Do you not love that ponytail? :)

Very busy stickering up her sticker book!

Too bad Morgan and Reags don't have any fun together!

Goof balls!

Hope you had a great weekend!  I am CROSSING MY FINGERS, toes, eyes, arms, you name it for a snow day or two this week!  I know we have to make it up, but it sure would be nice!!  We are also getting SO excited for our upcoming trip to St. Louie!!!!!!

19 Months!

Reagan is 19 months old today...that just sounds OLD! :)  She is just getting so big, talking, playing, copying what we say and do...it's so fun!

Reagan is really talking up a storm right now!  She is starting to put more and more two and three word phrases together.  She loves to say "ice ceam me" and "ank you daddy/mommy/whoever." (thank you)  Of course her favorites to say are "Duuura" and "Kai-Lan watch!!"

Lounging outside her tent tonight watching Kai Lan...this is all her request too, the pillow, "daddy bankie", and the show!
She loves when we play with her and will pull on us and tell us to "tum on!"  She loves her playhouse that Mum-Mum and Pop-Pop got her and will mix and cook in it all day!  Reags is getting tricky though and will pretend to spill whatever she is making and say "pill", then use her towels that she has in her house to "cean it up."  It's pretty stinkin' cute!  Her tent is also a big hit that Santa brought, she loves hanging out in that and getting tickled from the outside.

Reags continues to love to read, watch tv, play, run, eat, you name it!  She is at such a fun age right now...we are just loving every second with her!!

Here is Reagan eating her dinner tonight...she is a nut!

It was soooo wonderful to have so much time off with her over Christmas, going back to work is for the birds, but she was so excited to see Wendy, Aaron, and Emma.  We are SO thankful for Miss Wendy!!!

Reagan is such a happy, sweet, girl...we are just so lucky!  I say that all the time, but we are.

Happy New Year!

Happy 2011!!  It is so hard to believe that another new year has begun...I have a feeling this is going to be a great year!!  My lucky number is 4 and 2+0+1+1 just happens to be 4 :)

Ha!  Just before midnight...our family, with a picture of Reaggie since she was sleeping

New Year's Eve day we were actually going to take Reags for her first haircut!  However, I left my camera next to the computer, SO obviously that wasn't going to happen.  Instead we ran in TJ Maxx because I had a couple returns.  Keith happened to find Reagan a NC State basketball jersey, it's pretty cute.  Then we were looking at the shelves of movies they had to see if maybe there was a Dora movie or something.  Keith and I were looking on the shelves and saw some cartoons, but not what we were looking for.  Then we heard a sweet little RMK voice say, "KAI-LAN, KAI-LAN!!"  Believe it or not, she found the ONE Kai-Lan movie that TJ Maxx had!  It was just too cute!!!  We still aren't quite sure how she found it and we didn't!

Go Pack!  She tries so hard to do the "wof" with her hands...not quite there yet!

Reags and Morgan had fun playing together in the afternoon!  Reagan is sporting her pig tail look...what do you think?  Personally, I think it's precious! :)  She and Morgan put on a concert for us singing, what else, but Justin Beiber!

Looking at herself in the mirror...

"oh baby...baby...baby"

The Mills came over for New Years, which was a last minute decision, but it was fun. I made Heather's stuffed shells for dinner and I have to say they were pretty tastey.  Margaret and I watched a movie and the boys went up to a neighbors to watch some of the football game. We rang in 2011 and then we were all about ready for bed...ha!

Sleepy girl...8:00 is late night for this little munchkin!

I mean, are we fun or what?! :)

No words... :)

The Mills...Morgan got a fancy glass of sparkling apple cider

New Year's Day is always a sad one when all the decorations need to come down....atleast we had a good helper! :)

I haven't really made any resolutions this year, just looking forward to all that is in store!  I hope you have a happy, healthy, and wonderful 2011!!!
