Happy Easter!

What a GREAT Easter weekend we had!  It was busy, relaxing, beautiful, really...it was perfect!  Other than the fact that I am totally exhausted and we have to go back to "reality" tomorrow, it was wonderful! :)

Saturday morning Keith and Reags were off to swimming lessons and I had to go to the grocery store and run a couple other quick errands.  Keith was meeting Jeff for golf, so I had limited time...probably a good thing!

Once Keith got home we dyed Easter eggs!  I only boiled a dozen, but thankfully that was plenty for sweet girl to have fun with.  She thought it was pretty cool and had a lot of fun, as did the parents! :)

So excited!

Snuggling with a little milk before bed on Saturday night!

This morning, of all mornings, Reagan slept until 8:00!  Honestly, I don't know the last time she did that...she clearly needed it!  Once she got up we searched the house for her Easter basket...that sneaky bunny put it in the dining room!  She was so excited about her new treats, but her favorite by far is her new Dora chair, surprise, surprise! :)  We had a great little morning, but it was quick because we had to head out the door for church.  The nursery was packed this morning and Reags wanted nothing to do with it, so she just stayed in church with us and did really well.  At the end we were singing and I was holding her.  Several people around us had their arms in the air and Reagan started doing it too...Keith and I thought it was pretty cute.  Reagan requested a biscuit on the way home, maybe with a little convincing from mommy, regardless, we stopped by Bojangles on the way home! :)  Reags loves her some biscuits!

LOLLIPOPS!!!

In LOVE with this dress!!  I think she looked too darn cute!

Yummy Bojangles!

Family shot :)

We came home, played outside, Keith did lots of yard work, I worked on dinner/dessert preparations, laundry...the fun stuff.  After Reags got up from her nap we had a little Easter egg hunt outside for her.  She loved carrying around a basket and finding all the eggs.  We couldn't have had a more beautiful day!

Success!!

Taking a breather!

We had a great dinner together and now my Easter Bunny cake is waiting for me downstairs, but I didn't want Mum-Mum or Gigi upset with me for not posting tonight :)

Reaggie was such a great helper getting dinner ready!  She helped me wash potatoes and put them in the pot after I cut them up...too sweet :)

Keith is ready to eat! :)

"No like Mommy" :)  She is NOT my child!

Hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend!! :)

Spring Break 2011

ha!  Not the "typical" spring break these days, but hey time off of work, is time off of work! :)  I'll take it anyway I can get it!

Reags and I flew up to PA on Monday morning.  We had a great flight, thank goodness!  Reagan is just a regular traveler these days.  I am pretty sure this was her 6th trip on an airplane.  It's a beautiful thing that she is still free...once that 2nd birthday arrives, her flying days will be done for awhile!

Anyway, we hit Chic Fil A when we landed and by the time we got home it was time for little miss to take a nap.  She slept great and so did Mommy!  I was exhausted :)  That night Heath came over to have dinner with us and play with Reagan.  She hadn't seen her in awhile, so it was fun for them to get to play!  We had so much fun together, as always!

My mom's cute Easter Bunny cupcakes...I won't even tell you how many of those cupcakes I ate!

On Tuesday we were going to go to the Baltimore Aquarium, but get this, NO strollers allowed!  WHAT??  That made our decision of whether or not to go a lot easier.  We did contemplate strapping Reagan onto Jamie's lap, but then thought better of it. :)  Colleen, our next door neighbor growing up, came over to visit with her twin boys!  They are precious and I can not believe I didn't get a picture of them!!  Reagan was so excited to see the babies, but didn't understand why they would fuss when she held them.  It was so great to see all of them!  We had dinner with my dad on Tuesday night and Reagan got to enjoy plenty of "pin-ano" playing time.

Relaxing in her rocking chair reading some books :)  Life is hard at Mum-Mum and Pop-Pop's

Changing her baby's diaper...she is getting in lots of practice!

26 Week Belly Shot!  Rapidly expanding :)

Playing the piano with Grandpa

On Wednesday Gran and Gramps came up for the day and it was so great to see them, as always.  Reaggie loves her Gigi and Gamps and was excited to see them.  We hung out, played with Reags, ate, played outside, and watched "Life As We Know It" which was so cute!

All of the girls!

A little post nap snack

Thursday was the day to leave, but we were able to go visit my Grandpa for a little bit in the morning.  We stopped at Walgreens to get him a little chocolate bunny for Easter and Reagan insisted on getting him a little bunch of Tootsie Pops too.  It was cute and they both gobbled one down while we were visiting.  We went back to Mom and John's in time to eat lunch and play for a little bit and then it was out the door on our way to the airport!

This is the best we could do! :)

Keith picked us up and we met the Mill's at our local Mexican restaurant for dinner.  We were celebrating/mourning Darin's last day of work.  He will start a new job in Virginia in a week and by the end of June/beginning of July our sweet neighbors, yes this is "Mo-Mo's" family, will be leaving us!  We are so sad, but it is a wonderful opportunity for them.

That was our week in a nut shell.  Now we are ready for the Easter weekend festivities to begin...a low key weekend of just the 3 of us, well 4 ;)  Reags is very excited for the "bunny" to come see her!

Busy Weekend

Another weekend has come and gone, but the beautiful thing is that this upcoming week is my spring break, SOOO no school tomorrow, or for the rest of the week!  Reags and I are hitting the friendly skies tomorrow though and heading to PA to visit with family for a couple days...one of these days we will all stay put for several weeks in a row, actually coming up very soon we will be staying put for a long time! :)

Friday night Reaggie and I met Keith at the mall to run a couple errands, see the Easter Bunny, and grab Chic-Fil-A for dinner.  It was such a fun little night.  Reagan loved riding on the "choo choo" and eating an ice cream cone..."me hold it mommy, me hold it."  Love it right?  Keith was able to use a little massage that I had gotten him last year, I think for his birthday, so he felt nice and refreshed after that, I said to him, must be nice :)

Riding the "choo choo"

How niiiice... ;)

Checking out that Easter Bunny...

"Hi Bunny!  Hop, hop, hop"

A picture of our picture with the Easter Bunny...not quite comfortable enough to do it herself!

Ice cream time!

"Me carry it Mommy!"  Heaven help us!

Saturday morning we were up and at em for our first week of Reagan's swim lessons.  She is in the same class she did last year and really loved it!  It really is just a "getting familiar with the water class," but they sing songs and practice lots of kicking.  It's cute!  She did great and loved being in the pool.  Everytime we drive by the club she always says "pool" or "go swim."  She is going to be a total water bug this summer I think! :)

Ready for swimming lessons!

She is currently obsessed with her "fip fops" :)

I had to jet out of swim lessons a few minutes early to head to Greensboro for Erin's wedding.  It was SO nice and great to see so many people that I don't get to see nearly often enough.  Thankfully it was all indoors because the weather outside was NOT lovely at all.  (In fact Raleigh got hit with some VERY nasty tornadoes.  Just a couple miles down the road from us houses were leveled and people lost everything...so scary!  We lost power for about 5 hours, but that was fine in comparison.)  Erin and Bradd both looked so happy and beautiful!  It was a great afternoon!

"The blonds" and "The brunettes"  Love these girls!!

The beautiful bride and I!

Today has been a day of laundry and packing, playing outside, running to Walmart and Gymboree (it was the last day to use my Gymbucks!), and making dinner.  Not super eventful, but busy!

Hope you had a great weekend and have a wonderful week! :)
