Miss Personality!

Miss Personality herself continues to crack us up!!  Reagan has discovered that her little tush fits perfectly in on of the cabinets and it is a really cool spot to sit...ha!  Of course she was trying to get out right as I took her picture! :)

I can't believe I never posted these pictures!  A couple weeks ago, after Reagan's nap, she opened her armoire and pulled out all of her hairbows and decided she wanted me to put about four in her hair...

Then she decided she wanted to put on her favorite butterfly pj's!

Finally, the hairbows weren't fun anymore, BUT all of her socks and her crochet headbands were!

That night for dinner I made sloppy joes and Reagan thought they were delich!  As you can tell she didn't want to waste a morsel!

Field Trip #2

On Wednesday we celebrated our last day with Morgan before she officially started Kindergarten!!  (yes, year round school...)  We went to Marbles, in downtown Raleigh and it was SO fun!  The girls had a BLAST!!  We stayed there for a few hours, headed home for lunch, Reags took her nap, and Morgan and I made homemade ice cream!!  It was delicious, especially with the M&Ms and chocolate chips that Morgan wanted to put in it. :)

Bus driver Morgan coming through!

Yes, she had to wear the pearls!  She had just been screaming at the fish behind her...loved them!

Reagan the ambulance driver...Mommy wasn't in the back of this one!

Reagan the cashier!

The look of pure happiness!

ha...the smock for the water area was a little big!

Nice flippers!

Soooo happy!

Dancin' to the music!

Um...this made my knees weak!  This "cage" is on the second floor and as you can see there is not a solid base to it...of course Reagan didn't care!

Morgan was brave to try it out!

Nice Little Saturday

Well our Saturday was really not anything too exciting, but I thought it was fun!  Keith played golf in the morning, so Reags and I hung out, went to the grocery store and the dry cleaner, you know, did fun stuff!  ha! :)

When she woke up from her nap we all, yes even Keith, went to the mall.  We needed to exchange some NC State Rainbows I got Keith for Father's Day and just "shop" around.  We don't do this often at all, so it was fun having all of us there together.  Keith even got to enjoy a free mini massage from one of the little kiosks!  We decided to stay for dinner and had a delicious dinner of Chic-Fil-A and then got ice cream cones from Dairy Queen.  Now, I have never taken Reagan out to eat and not given her something that I brought from home as her "main dinner" and then let her snack on whatever.  She GOBBLED down chicken nuggets and loved her some french fries...she even liked our ICE CREAM!!  Yeah!!  I have been a little "concerned" that the girl doesn't like sweets, but she sure did love some soft serve ice cream last night.  (I think it probably feels pretty good on her teeth coming in too!)

After Reags went to bed Keith and I got a movie on demand, She's Out of My League, it was so cute!  Funny, but cute at the same time!

Oh and this is something from Sunday, but I had to include...we went to church this morning and we took Reagan to the nursery.  I have never left her like that and she did great!!  I shed a tear, but knew she was in good hands.  I just need to grasp this whole concept that she will grow up...ha!

This afternoon Reagan played in her water table on the deck and her shorts got soaked, so they were just lying on the floor.  She picked them up and put them on her head and started dancing around!  She cracks us up!!

Field Trip!

Well that's what I called it anyway...on Friday I took Reagan and Morgan to the North Carolina Museum of Natural Science, or as Morgan called it "The Natural Animal Museum of North Carolina!"  (how cute is that?!)  It is a cute museum with lots of insects, butterflies, stuffed animals, storytime, and it's free!  It was so fun to take both girls, they both had a great time!  We took a picnic lunch, but with the 1,000 camps there, all of the picnic tables were taken.  We just sat on a bench outside and made the best of it!

Reagan LOVED the fish!  She would just SCRRRREEEAAAM everytime she saw one...it was pretty cute!

The girls sitting in a dinosaur footprint! :)

I'll count that field trip as a success! :)

Silly Girls!

Last week, after Reagan's nap, Morgan and Reagan were wired!!  They are so sweet together!

4th of July Weekend!!

What a weekend!!!!!!!!!!  This is going to be long, just an FYI!

On Friday night we left for Pennsylvania to spend the 4th with my family.  We got in late on Friday night, but Reags did good in the car and went right to sleep when we got to my dad's house.

Saturday we got up, hung out, and headed over to my mom's for a cookout.  Gran and Gramps came up for the day and it was just a lot of fun!

Sunday we had decided that my dad, Jamie, Keith and I would head to Rehoboth Beach for the day.  My mom and John kept Reagan for us and we could just LOUNGE on the beach...ahhhhh!!  We got to the beach around 11 and made plans to meet my dad and J for lunch at noon.  Needless to say we were on the beach for less than an hour and it was PACKED, but still sooooo nice!!

At noon we headed up to Grotto's, sat pretty much on the boardwalk, and ordered a drink and our pizza.  I ate about a slice and a half of pizza and started not to feel so good...not like I was going to throw up or anything, just didn't feel right.  I got up to go to the bathroom and had to wait in a little line.  I wasn't in the line long when I really started to feel lightheaded.  I walked out of the bathroom and sat in a booth right outside the door and that is when I fainted!!!!!!  I woke up to about 15 faces looking at me, none of which were my dad or Keith.  A woman asked my name when I "woke up" and she must have known where we were sitting and went to the table to tell my dad that I was "on the floor."  My dad and Keith ran back and we were all told that I had apparently fallen face first out of the booth.  There was a doctor eating at the restaurant that said I needed to go to the hospital.  (If you know me, you know I freak out and I was still not feeling great at this point, but also friecking out!)  One of the waitresses had called 911 and within minutes an ambulance was there with paramedics and everything.  They walked me out of the restaurant and put me on a strecher and into the ambulance I went.  I couldn't really believe that all this had happened.  When we got to the hospital they tested my blood sugar right away and it was only 48....normal is 100.  Yikes!!  I had to drink orange juice and apple juice and eat this totally NASTY chicken salad sandwich to try to raise that ASAP.  Meanwhile, the nurses are asking what happened about 1,000 times and then a doctor walks in and asks me if "sudden death" runs in my family, or if I think I'd had a heart attack, or was this a grand mal seizure....AHHHHHH!!!  I was scared to death!  Needless to say I had to have an EKG, a catscan, blood drawn about 5 times, and an IV of fluids all to find out that everything was a-okay!!  THANK GOODNESS!! Oh have I mentioned yet that my lip is huge and I have scrapes on my nose and under my right eye? :)  We were SO lucky to be in and out of the ER in about 3 1/2 hours....how quick is that?!  The nurses were sooo sweet to me and dealt very nicely with my paranoia.  Sadly, this was not how our fun day at the beach was supposed to go, but it all worked out and we were all just happy that everything was okay.

We went back into Rehoboth for a little while after leaving the hospital.  I had really wanted to go in the Ann Taylor outlet, ha!, so Keith and I walked in and he said, "Steph, you've had a hard day...get whatever you want!"  (I thought I was going to faint again!)  I found NOTHING!!  Can you believe it?!  I still wasn't feeling great though, so I'm sure that had something to do with it.  Looking back now I should have just gotten SOMETHING!!  We did go back downtown and got an ice cream before we headed back home.  We were all pretty tired after our "exciting" day.

On Monday I still wasn't feeling great, still very low on energy, but we did go see my Grandpa late that afternoon.  He was SO happy to see Reaggie!!  He wanted me to walk her around to show her off...it was very sweet.  We had some yummy burgers for dinner Monday night and then hit the road Tuesday morning.

All in all it was a very nice trip home!  It just had a slight unexpected twist in it...I just kept thinking how thankful I was that Reaggie hadn't gone to the beach with us that day! :)

Hope you had a great 4th of July weekend!! :)

Gone Phishing

Last Thursday night Keith and I went to a Phish show. I have to admit it was something I never thought I would do, nor enjoy. However, I have to say it was a lot of fun!

Our friends Andrew and Jessica had found a couple tickets for us at a price too good to pass up, so we decided we would go. (Keith is a HUGE Phish fan...me, not so much!) However, the day of the show an email went around work for Keith about two box seats and a VIP parking pass. Keith responded, but was second to do so. We got lucky though because the first guy to respond had a wife that was not so excited about going, so the tickets became ours!

We parked NO problem, walked into the VIP area (and let me tell you that is the way to go to a concert!!), had a drink, and just sat and talked! We went to our seats and I didn't even know there were "boxes" at this venue, but there were and it was wonderful!!

The hippie dancing was probably my favorite part...it was very different than any country concert I have been to, but still so fun. Everyone was just having a VERY good time! :)
