Third Birthday Weekend!

*Beware of picture overload!*

Friday morning we had to run a few last minute errands to get ready for the big day on Saturday, such as pick up the cake!  By the time we got home my mom and John were just about here, which Reags was a little too excited about!  They were here for lunch and then once I got the kiddos down, I had to run to get our blasted computer looked at real quick so I could finish up her 3rd year slideshow...it worked out that I had "babysitters" during naptime :)

Pop-Pop worked hard during naptime to put this beauty together!  Reaggie's first car :)  She was SOOO excited!!  However, she was so scared to get in it at first and then finally got in it, but did NOT want it to move.  Thankfully, the battery was still charging anyway, so it's a good thing she didn't want it to move!

Landon loves it too!

Seriously!?  Her bar is set a little too high now I think!

Thank you Mum-Mum and Pop-Pop for the SOOO cool present!

We had a little cookout at our house Friday night because Margaret and MORGAN drove down from Virginia for Reaggie's party.  Our other neighbors came over too and we all hung out and ate until about 9 when this wicked woman broke up the party so a certain 3 year old could go to bed to get ready for her big party day!

Reaggie's party was at a gym this year, which was SOO great!  There really was NO stress the morning of the party, which is a whole new concept for me :)  We had to swing by Harris Teeter to get some balloons and, clearly, had to have a donut!

We got to the gym about 15 minutes before her friends were to arrive, I set up the tables, got things organized and we were set!

Party time!  Yahoooo!

Reagan with her girls, Brooklyn and Grace :)

Mo-Mo!!! (in full gymnastics attire!)

Baby Evie came and to say Reagan was excited to see her was an understatement!  Of course we were excited to see Miss Heather and Mr. Bret too!

"Silly" Emmy :)

So they have this harnass swing that apparently is the "hit" of all the parties...I didn't think Reagan would want to do it, because she has been nervous lately about doing anything new.  WELL, Morgan went first to show her how fun it was and then Reagan was ALL excited!  She was FLYING through the air and LOVING every second!  I felt like I was going to vomit just watching her, but she had a blast!

Since she was the birthday girl she got to go TWICE!  The second time she was much more comfortable and wanted to go faster and higher than before!

Group shot!  I can't believe they were so still :)

After an hour in the gym we got to move into the lovely paint splattered party room ;)  We had 30 minutes in there, which worked out great.  We had cake, ice cream, Reagan passed out her goodie bags to her friends, cleaned up and it was time to go!  I think everyone had a great time!

Since her party was wrapped up by 11:30, we decided to go out to lunch with Margaret and Morgan before they hit the road.  We went to the Ale House, sat outside, and the girls got to run out even more energy while we waited for our food.  They had a blast!

We were home in time for naps and EVERYONE slept GREAT!  What a busy morning!  I think we need to invest in a trampoline and bouncy slides in our future :)  Keith went out to watch the Germany soccer game and on his way home picked up Reagan's final dinner request of the 3rd birthday extravaganza, steak, again!  We ate a yummy dinner on the deck and Landon had a BLAST splashing in the water table.  Silly man!  Good thinkin' Mum-Mum!

Pure happiness!

We had to sing to the birthday girl ONE LAST time!

...with leftover cake from her party!

We ended Saturday night by watching her 3rd year slideshow that I made.  It takes awhile to do and I stress so badly about the songs to put on it, but it is so fun to watch and see how much our little girl has changed over the year!  Reags got a kick out of watching it too :)  She has been watching her "baby" one a lot lately on the computer.

Sunday morning we had a yummy breakfast and then it was car time again!  Reagan still wanted nothing to do with pushing the petal, SO Keith had a GREAT idea (I seriously was impressed) to use the top of a broom to push the petal and we could walk behind the car.  It worked and R LOVED it!  It is going to take her a few tries to master steering, but she did pretty good!

note the broom handle :)

Landon got in on the fun too and LOVED it!

Phew...what a fun weekend!  I think we are partied out for a little while anyway, until it's time for our big man's first birthday in August.  Hard to believe that is right around the corner!
Reags woke up with a little fever this morning, again, and said her tummy hurt.  She rested most of the morning and I gave her Advil, which seemed to help her feel better too.  Hopefully she can sleep it off and be feeling good as new!

Reagan is THREE!

Yesterday was Miss Reagan's THIRD birthday and we had such a great day!!  I kept thinking about how much has changed in the past three years, or even year for that matter!  She has just grown into such a sweet, precious girl and we are so proud of her.  Enough of that though, I will write more on that later!  Here is what we did on her special day!

The birthday girl's table the night before, just waiting for her!  We decided to do some presents with breakfast and then some after dinner :)  I think this is what we'll do from now on, she loved having presents all day!

We decorated her door...fyi, don't ever bother buying balloons from The Dollar Tree...seriously terrible!

The Birthday Princess!!!

Opening her gift from Landon, 2 princess wands that she REALLY, REALLY wanted!

Her sweet Daddy went out first thing in the morning to get her birthday breakfast requests...a donut and a biscuit (she is a southern girl!)  Just a little background info on the fact that Keith and I were up with Landon from about 2-4:30 that morning...I was about to LOSE it, thankfully Keith is very calm...we finally got in bed at 4:30 and at 4:33, Reagan started calling me.  Ugh!  Thankfully I could just crawl in bed with her and we both went right back to sleep and we all slept until 7!!  ...well except Keith!

Daddy also got Reagan some beautiful birthday flowers!  She was SO excited :)

One of her gifts was a whole dress up bride outfit that she actually had picked out.  Well now she no longer really likes the dress, she wiped out in the shoes, sooo she just really likes the veil.  I would be lying if I said I didn't kind of tear up when her little voice said, "look mama, I'm getting married."  Remember in Father of the Bride when Annie tells her dad the same thing!?  That was my moment...

We had a fun morning playing and getting ready for our exciting day!  Landon took his snooze while we got ready and then we were off to the nail salon.  I had asked Reaggie a couple days ago if she would like to get her nails and toes done on her birthday and, of course, she said yes!  The place that I go right here in town has a great little princess chair and everything.  She didn't get a "full" mani and pedi, just really a painting.  Which, hello, is really all a 3 year old needs :)  Reagan picked out a HOT pink color (neon is in right?) with sparkles in it.  The girl who did her nails is so sweet, I love her.  She even painted a flower on each of her big toes and her ring fingers.  Reagan was SO proud of her nails!

After nails we went to Target to get a special treat.  Grandpa (my dad) had sent her a check and when we talked to him he told her that she and her mommy had to go shopping to buy some special treats with it.  The girl, having obvious hereditary tendencies, wanted to start shopping right away :)  She picked out a Cinderella ballet barbie and a new (really cute, I wish it came in my size) dress!  Her next purchase will be a big girl princess bike!  Keith actually met us at Target and we even ran into her best friend, Brooklyn, there!

Meal request #2, was Panera for lunch!  I was thrilled...I love Panera, so any excuse to go, I'll take it :)

After lunch we came home for naps and I needed to wrap the rest of her gifts since we ran out of wrapping paper the night before.  Landon only slept for about 35 minutes in his crib and then I rocked him for the rest of his nap, which was not in my game plan, but it worked.  Thankfully, Keith was coming home early so I knew I would have extra hands!

Isn't the dress adorable!?!?

When this cutie got up from her nap, it was time to make the icing for her cupcakes.  I KNEW she didn't want the actual cake, this was all just for the icing :)  The girl DOWNED some icing as we were making it...oh it was tastey.  I might have had a few too many tastes as well.  Of course we had to make it pink!

New princess tumbler, with a straw!  She was helping Daddy with the grilling.

The dinner request of my three year old...steak, potatoes, fruit salad, and honey butter circle rolls :)  haha!  I couldn't believe this was her request, but again, I was excited.  My favorite meal too!

After dinner she opened the rest of her presents and Landon was NOT happy that he couldn't eat the wrapping paper....this picture is just so him, our little whinney boy! ;)

Princess beach chair!

Time to SING!!!  (we actually sang a few times, she loved blowing out her candles!)

Reagan wished for a great day with her Mommy, Daddy, Landon, and Bailey...precious!

Licking that icing right off!

Icing face :)

After cupcakes and a little more playing, Reags and I took a walk.  It was SO beautiful out...borderline cool.  We ran into a few neighbors and just had a nice little walk together.  She ended her evening with a little milk, Bubble Guppies, and snuggles.

It was such a fun day celebrating our sweet girl!  Now she is just sooo excited for her party on Saturday with her friends from school. :)

Happy 3rd Birthday Reaggie!!!!!!!!

Weekend Fun!

We had such a fun weekend!  Friday night was nothing too exciting...some pizza and birthday preperations :)

Saturday morning Reagan had her last ballet class.  She just loved ballet so much and had the sweetest teacher, who was the owner of the studio.  I know Reaggie will miss it, but is already excited to start again in August!  We wound up making ballet a family affair, since LTK decided he didn't need to nap :)  After ballet we ran to the grocery store and then home to play, have lunch, and naps.

I ran out during naps to run lots of birthday errands.  (I even 2 for 1'd with a little Father's Day too!)  Saturday evening we had a neighborhood "Driveway Party" at 5, which for us works out great timing wise.  We were the only ones there for awhile before others arrived.  I was thinking we would go home, I would give the kids baths, and work on Reagan's birthday slideshow, BUT my sweet neighbor was going to see "What to Expect When You're Expecting" and she told Keith about it and he said that I should go too!!  YAHOO!!  It's the little things ;)  If you have not seen this movie, GO!  It's hilarious and sooo sooo good!  I was laughing so hard that I cried and then crying so hard that I couldn't breath...ha.  I really loved it.  We got home around 10:15 and Michelle and I were finishing up our convo in the car when Keith came out with Landon.  WHAT?  Well apparently he had just woken up SCREAMING!!!  Nothing would calm him down...SOOO thankfully momma came home :)  I think his belly hurt and he has had a little diaper rash, so I put him in a warm bath and then rocked him back to sleep.  Poor sugar.  The beautiful thing was he slept through the night!!  WOW!  I told him on Sunday morning that I would give him a bath every night at 10:30 if it meant him sleeping through :)

Sunday morning Reags and I ran to good old Walmart, then the kiddos and I played outside for awhile before having lunch.  Yesterday evening our town hosted a free beach music concert in the park.  I had talked to Brooklyn's mom to see if they wanted to go, so we met them there.  The weather couldn't have been better and the girls had sooo much fun dancing.  There was a guy from the local newspaper there and he was snapping pictures left and right of the girls, so they might have their newspaper debut soon!  We all went out for pizza afterwards and then came home.  It was just such a fun night, even though we were home by 7:40!

Overall it was a great weekend.  The kiddos and I spent the morning at the pool today, which was my first time taking both by myself and it was great.  Landon loves to just sit in the really shallow water and splash!  Now if my sweet man would just give momma a little time to get a few things done for sister's birthday tomorrow that would be great! ;)

10 Months!

Yesterday, Landon turned 10 months old!  He is just getting a little too big lately and it reminds me of how quick the "baby" stage really is...sigh.

This is how our photo shoot started...do you just see the dread excitement in his eyes?!

He is SOOOO busy these days! OH MY! He is in full fledge SPEED crawling now and pulls himself to standing on ANYTHING he can find. He especially loves cabinets, Reagan's chairs, and anything else that has the potential for him to get hurt on :) He is just a BOY!
Yup...and he's off!  Toys are much more fun!

Landon is officially totally over baby food, he wants nothing to do with it or anything that you need to feed him with a spoon.  He does do okay with yogurt, which makes me feel like he is eating something healthy other than puffs, goldfish, or wagon wheels!  He certainly has an opinion about what he eats and is such a stinker about picking up only what he recognizes on his tray.  He has really been liking cheese lately and even had some bologna for lunch today.  Oh and while we're on the topic of food, he has mastered the straw as well and loves to drink from one now!  He still gets 4 bottles a day, but is starting not to drink as much in a bottle as he has been.

Let's try the table...

Landon's newest tricks include playing peek a boo and holding a phone to the back of his head like he is talking on it.  It's so funny!  He is also ALL about opening and closing things and banging toys together...AKA making a lot of noise :)  He has found cabinets that I don't think Reagan, even to this day, knew existed.

Thank goodness for sister making silly faces!

Landon seems to be starting to understand more and more of what we are saying, which is pretty amazing.  He knows to come to momma and when we say "I'm gonna get you" his speed crawl is in full effect!

He is just a sweet sugar that likes to be BUSY!  However, he can be SO laid back and relaxed sometimes too.  He is just a sweet man that gets more kisses in a day on those cheeks then is probably normal.  :)  I can't believe he will be ONE in just two short months...in fact I just ordered his birthday invitation on Friday.  I am pretty excited to have a fun party to plan for him!

The bus is just MUCH more fun then pictures!

We love you sweet man!!

Busy Bees

Just some pictures from last week...Reaggie had a little "bug" or something on Tuesday.  Her tummy hurt and she had a low grade fever...a little advil and 24 hours later and she was fine, thankfully.  She still has a cough, but other than that is feeling very Reagan! :)  Her THIRD birthday is on Tuesday and I don't know who is more excited, her or me?!  We are going to have such a fun day and she has all of her meals all planned out...precious!

who doesn't love driving the cart at Harris Teeter?!

This little guy has started putting phones up to his ear...pretty cute!

After being home all day Wednesday, it was time to get out on Thursday.  We went and got a million new library books and then played on the playground!  (Note the pearls please...)

This picture is funny to me for so many reasons...a) yes, Reagan has a blue hair piece in :)  b) yes, she is in her swimsuit...she looks at is as a treat to sleep in it!  c) Keith claims he can't hold 2 kids at a time because he doesn't have hips...puh-lease! :)

Playing a lovely game of restaurant on Friday

Could he have MORE teeth coming in??  He has 8 already!!

Landon thinks he is just such a big man...Reagan had poured some baby goldfish on the table at lunchtime, which clearly I hadn't cleaned up yet, SO after Landon woke up he crawled his little tush over to the table and helped himself to a snack! :)  He downed all of them!
