Happy Halloween!

Halloween started off with a yummy breakfast! We had cinnamon rolls with orange icing, banana ghosts, and donut eyeballs :)

The kids got a little pumpkin at school on Wednesday, so they just had to paint it!

After Landon went down for his nap, our friend Kate came over with her niece, Aria, who is 4 as well! The girls hit it off instantly and played SO well together. They were dressed up with jewelry and high heels within about 3 minutes :)

We made little witch hats as a little activity...not surprising, the girls picked pink and purple icing!

We went to Kate's that night for trick or treating and it was great! Keith took Landon and said he was so cute and LOVED getting the "can-ny" :) Kate, Missy (Aria's mom), Reagan, Aria, and I went around the neighborhood and the princesses got lots of yummy candy!

Since the whole bride idea was a last minute decision and her play veil must have gotten packed up and is in storage, we used MY veil from our wedding. ha! When we went to my dad's to get it, Reagan wanted me to put on my wedding dress too...I think it would depress me because I'm pretty sure that bad boy wouldn't fit like it did 7 years ago :) All I could think of was the scene in Father of the Bride when Annie is telling her parents that she met a man in Rome and is going to marry him and they have a little girl telling them this...when her future husband is asking us for permission to marry our daughter, I will no doubt think of THIS picture! ...tear...

It was such a fun Halloween! We came home and the put the kiddos right to bed...another holiday down and Reagan is already talking about what she wants to be next year when she's 5 and the year after that when she's 6!

Preschool Halloween, Ballet, and a Parade!

Wednesday was the big "Halloween Parade Day" at preschool...and of course, it was raining :) SOOO the parade was moved into the sanctuary, which was still cute as could be! The kids looked adorable! I was so curious if Landon would even have his little costume on and warned his teacher that I didn't care at all if he wasn't having it, but thankfully our little construction worker was in all his glory!

Miss Reagan was going to be a witch for Halloween this year...since August, she's been going to be a witch. On Tuesday night was she was trying it on, she suddenly decided that she didn't want to be a witch anymore...seriously?! SOO for preschool she was Sophia the First instead :)

Then there was ballet class, which the kids were allowed to wear their costumes to as well. For ballet Reagan decided she was going to be a fairy princess! Again, whatever!

After ballet we went to the Oxford Parade, which was so fun! I have NEVER been and it is a big deal...we're talking this was a 2 hour long parade! It was such a fun night and the kiddos really seemed to like it.

We left there with a LOT of candy...holy cow!! Everybody was throwing candy off of their floats and the kids loved getting it all and we have quite the stash now!

Strausburg Railroad

Tuesday we headed to Lancaster to ride on the Strausburg Railroad! It is something we've all always wanted to do, but never had. It didn't disappoint...it was so fun and the kiddos had a blast!

Probably the last longall he'll wear...well, I have one more for Christmas! Daddy will be SO happy when they are done with...boo hoo!

Is this not a DREAM swingset?!?!? It was so fun and the kids could have just played on this forever!

7 Years!

On Monday Keith and I celebrated our 7th anniversary! My mom and John watched the kiddos, so we had the day to enjoy. We started with our flooring appointment...selecting our hardwoods, carpet, and tile, which was pretty fun :) We went to lunch, looked at our house (which has a full basement now!!), went to a movie (we saw Prisoners...UMMM wish I had known a little more about it, awful plot about two little girls who were kidnapped...happy ending, but not a pick me up movie at all!), and went to a cute little restaurant for dinner! It was a fun day!

This tree was RED on our wedding day, it was SOO pretty! I had told our photographer that I REALLY wanted a picture of us in front of it...WELL, once the ceremony was over and we took all of our family pictures and a few of us, it was already getting late, so I said don't worry about the tree picture. The photographer asked if I was sure, I said yes, let's just go. WELL, I WISH we had that picture! Ugh! We've never been in the area for our anniversary before so I told Keith I REALLY wanted to get a picture of us in front of that blessed tree this year...well, typical, there was not a SOLE around to take one. So we just got some individual shots :)
