Reagan is FIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!

On June 5th, 2009 at 5:21pm our sweet Reagan Mae entered this world weighing 8 pounds 13 ounces...

How on EARTH has that been FIVE years ago!?!?  My precious little baby is growing up!

The birthday girl started her day with a new little outfit, which has since been worn the moment it is clean again over and over!, and her choice breakfast of powdered donuts!

She was slightly excited to open her presents right after breakfast!  There was a constant theme...Frozen!

That day the weather was iffy...we were going to go to Dutch Wonderland, but didn't want to get rained on, SO we went to the mall because Reagan had BIG plans...

We started at the Disney Store, which HAPPENED to have some Frozen goodies and even celebrated R's birthday on the big screen!

THEN......We went to good old Piercing Pagoda because a little girl I know wanted to get her EARS PIERCED!!  (we talked a lot about it...for months!...how it would feel a little like a shot...I told her when she was ready, we'd do it...she felt ready at 5!)

She was so brave, didn't cry a bit and was in total shock that she actually did it and had pierced ears!

Yay Reagan!!

After ears, we went to Build A Bear!

She made this cute kitty that she named Gracie :)

This sweet man was a trooper...Pop-Pop took him on ALL of the rides, so he was a happy man!

Surprisingly, we had Panera for lunch!  It was tastey :)  We have done that for lunch since Reagan was 3...it's her favorite!

Sweet 5 year old!  She got the Elsa dress...in a size 9/10, just a little big, but it's what they had :)

The birthday girl wanted McDonald's for dinner!

We got her this new nightgown, all the way from China :) (on ebay because that's where you can find Frozen things...), for her birthday and she also got measured...getting closer and closer to four feet!

We sang Happy Birthday again, she requested strawberry shortcake, which she then decided she didn't like and had oreos instead...silly girl!

I am pretty sure our FIVE YEAR OLD had a great day!  We love you Reaggie Mae!

Ellen's Visit!

Ellen and Evie arrived Saturday afternoon, which gave us enough time to go to dinner...Sunday was dance recital all day, so Monday was our beach day!!  We had GREAT weather, although the sea breeze was a little chilly :)  The kiddos had SO much fun though!  It was such a fun day!

the stuff needed even for a day trip is kind of crazy!  My helpers :)

We, of course, went to Funland and did some rides!

Landon man LOVED this Himalaya ride...his smile was ear the ear the WHOLE time!

Look at that sweet Evan man!

We ended our day at the beach at Grotto's and then home for bed!

Tuesday Heather and Tobin came over, which was so fun!  We took the kiddos to the park, had Chick-Fil-A and got to hang out together all day.  I am KICKING myself for not getting a picture of all of us, or atleast the 4 kiddos...next time :)

Sadly, Wednesday was here before we knew it and it was time to head back to the airport!  It was SO fun having Ellen and Evan here!  We can't wait to come to St. Louis next!!  THANK YOU SO MUCH for coming!!

Recitals and Special Visitors

Be prepared for lots of pictures of a sweet girl in a purple tutu :)  On Thursday, May 29th Reagan had her dress rehearsal for the big recitals!!  (The night before was just a rehearsal in regular dance clothes!)  She was so excited and the girls did so great!

This guy was such a trooper through dress rehearsal...thankfully after Reaggie was done we were able to leave.  iPads make everything better when you're almost 3!

We weren't allowed to video or take pictures on actual recital days, so dress rehearsal night was when you could do it.  I was trying to video and take pictures...I kind of needed a 3rd arm!

We stayed at my mom and John's that night and went to Longwood on Friday with Heather and Tobin.  As always the kiddos had a great time!

Friday afternoon it was time to get ready for the first big performance!  We were so excited for our Reagan!! Keith, Landon, and I were going together Friday night and Reaggie's sweet friend Anna, and her wonderful momma, Amy, came too!

Reagan, Julia, and Abby at intermission...Reagan just had 4 girls in her class, they were adorable!

Reaggie and Anna...such sweet, sweet friends!

Keith and Landon left at intermission, since it was already 7:30 (bedtime!) and they had an hour long drive home.  Reagan REALLY wanted to stay and watch the whole recital, she's way into the hip hop and jazz dances, so we did, which didn't end until after 9!!  We then went to Dairy Queen with Anna and Amy to get some ice cream, which then turned into a McDonald's run for R because she was starving having ate dinner at 4:00!  Needless to say we didn't leave until about 10 and Reagan was SPENT!!

Saturday was a day off from recitals, BUT VERY SPECIAL VISITORS WERE ARRIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Keith took the kiddos to soccer and I went to Baltimore to pick up............

ELLEN and her precious little man Evan!!  I have not seen this girl since right before she got pregnant with Evan, and he is 14 months old!!  LOVE HER!!

Saturday night we went out to dinner to our favorite spot, Cantwells Tavern.  There was music and the weather couldn't have been nicer!  Reagan of course wanted to dance :)

Our sweet neighbors came with us too!

Little Evie man!

Sunday morning was back to PA for another recital!  Keith stayed home with Evan and Landon, Ellen and I took Reagan, who had quite the cheering section!! (we weren't able to get Reagan until the END of the recital on Sunday, which was from 12-3:30!!  LONG recital, but so good!)

This sweet dancer had more flowers than she knew what to do with and even got her first trophy!

We are so proud of Reagan with how well she did learning her dance and also doing it so well on stage.  Some of the girls were a little nervous about being on stage in front of so many people, but that didn't phase Reagan for a second.  She was ready to get out there and do her thing!  So proud of you Reagan Mae!!
