Nice Little Saturday

What a great day it was today!! Yesterday afternoon Reaggie and I ventured to Winston to see Keith one last time and to use his babysitting services for Saturday :) I left early Saturday morning to head to Sandy's Bachelorette Celebration, which started with a brunch at her sister's house. From there we were off to three vineyards to taste their delicious wines, well most were delicious! :) It was so fun!! I had to drive seperatly from everyone else, who was in the "wine tour van," but it was still a great day!! We are sooo excited to share Sandy and Slim's wedding with them in less than two weeks!! (Post to come about that...leaving my baby for a WEEK!)

I left the vineyard tour a little early and headed back to Winston. By the time I got back I said a quick hello to Reaggie and then had to get read for the Christmas Spectacular!! Keith and I had a romantic dinner of Lean Cuisines in his apartment kitchen before we left ;) haha!! A girl from Keith's program watched Reagan for us and I knew she would do great with her! However, I have to admit that as we got in the car to go, I CRIED! We have never left Reagan with anyone other than family or our neighbors, so this was huge! However, not long after the show started we got a text saying, "she is a sleeping angel...have fun!" That made me feel MUCH better!

The show was GREAT! It brought back sooo many fun memories of seeing the show when I was younger. Keith really enjoyed it too :) I loved how so much of it was the same, but a lot of it was new too! Those Rockettes sure can kick those legs though and in perfect unison!! It's wonderful to see :) We were home by about 8:45, just in time to rock a fussy baby girl back to sleep!

Happy 1/2 Year Birthday!!

It is sooo hard for me to believe that my baby girl is 6 months old today...half of a year!! Part of me feels like we have had her for even longer and another part of me feels like it was just yesterday that she was born! We are so blessed to have such a happy and healthy baby!

Reagan is currently cutting her first teeth!! Her two bottom front teeth are coming in and it's so fun for all of us...haha! Poor thing is doing great with it, but nighttime seems to be the worst. I can not complain though because this is temporary and she is normally such a great sleeper, I'm not going to lie though and say I'm not tired!!

Reaggie has perfected the act of sitting by herself. She does great! I really don't worry about leaving her sitting on the floor anymore. She still loves her jumperoo and so do mommy and daddy!! Reagan could play in that thing for a very long time!! She loves to "jumpy jumpy jumpy!" :)

Today we left Reagan with her first babysitter, so we could see the Rockettes. :) She did great with her!

Reagan is babbling up a storm and just LOVES to blow bubbles at you! :) It's so funny! As if she isn't drooling enough with her toofers coming in!

She is eating rice again and we even introduced her to green beans so far. I don't think they are her favorite, she gets that from her mommy!!

It is going to be a fun Christmas with a baby this year. She is grabbing like crazy and I'm pretty positive will be more interested in the wrapping paper and boxes, than the actual presents!

Reagan is just a joy and I just stare at her often and say "Lord, thank you!" She is my angel girl and I just love her to pieces!!

All I Want for Christmas...

IS MY TWO BOTTOM TEETH!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's right folks, Reagan is OFFICIALLY TEETHING!! I can't even believe it!! I felt around her gums yesterday and thought I felt something, but I'm pretty sure I was in denial about it! I did take her to the doctor today though because she has been playing with her ears A LOT lately and didn't sleep so well last night. Turns out her ears look perfect, everything was great, just two little white marks poking in on her bottom gums! I asked the doctor how much Tylenol she could have for her weight and it is DOUBLE what I was giving her, so hopefully that helps the little angel sleep better tonight. Oh and by the way, she was weighed today (with clothes and diaper) and weighed 19 POUNDS 7 OUNCES!! Such a big girl...I had a feeling she was pushing 20 pounds. :) We go back to the doctor on Tuesday for her SIX MONTH check up...I know, six months already!! More updates to come!

Remember This?

Last year on "26" (abbreviation for December 26th, day after Christmas shopping!) Heather and I went shopping, for like the 13th year in a row! I saw this little Christmas outfit for that baby that was growing in my tummy and just had to have it!!

WELL NOW that outfit is almost too small for that sweet baby girl that was in my tummy!! I just can't get over it! I keep thinking back on "last year at this time...."

So Big!

I FINALLY set up Reaggie's little "high chair/booster seat thing" yesterday! I have been putting her in the Bumbo to feed her, but she is just starting to get a little too big for it! SOO out the "chair" came! She thought it was pretty fun and spent about 5 minutes banging on the tray. I fed her in it last night too and she did great! :) This weekend we're going to try some veggies...it's about time!!
I love this picture below, I think she is saying to me, "Mom, why are you ALWAYS taking pictures of me?? I'm just trying to eat my cereal in peace!!"

Precious!

Reaggie has on a brand new outfit today from her Mum Mum and Pop Pop and I just think it looks too stinkin' cute on her! She was so sweet just playing in her jumperoo before naptime and then playing on the floor with a toy! Just couldn't help but snap a couple pics! How is she already going to be 6 MONTHS on Saturday?!?! :)

O Christmas Tree...

Yesterday, after we got home from the PA state, we went out to get our Christmas tree! It was a quick and easy process, we thought! Turns out the trunk was WAY crooked and it wouldn't even go in our stand, even after trying about every angle...so poor Keith had to go back to get it fixed and FINALLY it was all set! We put the lights on last night and then decorated today :) Reagan even helped out a little bit! Sweet girl :)

A tradition we started with her was putting a Christmas tree in her room. Every year growing up my sister, brother, and I would all have an artificial tree in our room. I would even buy some of the most "beautiful" decorations to make sure my room was plenty festive as well. It was always so fun and I loved falling asleep with my tree lights on! Reagan doesn't have any "memory" ornaments yet, but I know over the years she will collect plenty! It was so sweet last night putting on her ornaments...she just sat in the floor and stared at the lights on her tree. I am just SOO excited for Christmas with our baby girl this year!!
