Christmas Eve!

After a LONG car ride back to PA, we were so excited that Christmas Eve was already here! (I think for the last 45 minutes of the drive Landon stood in between my legs in the back of the van and I wasn't sure if my bladder was going to be able to pull through for me...it was a long one, but we survived...barely!)

up making some yummy pretzel hershey kiss treats...Reagan was have M&M's for breakfast basically...Mum-Mum said it was Christmas ;)

Keith and I went out for a couple hours on Christmas Eve and the kiddos spent some time at my dad's.  We got back at about 12:45 and Landon was PASSED OUT in my dad's arms.  Seriously?!!?!  I told my dad he better be comfy because that would be all the nap L would take now...we tried setting up the pack n' play for him to snooze in, but that just didn't happen.  SOOOO no naps it was!

Opening his Christmas jammies before heading out to dinner on Christmas Eve!

...more excited about the tissue paper :)

Again, packed jammies for the restaurant in hopes of little ones falling asleep on the car ride home :)

He headed over to my Grandpa's before dinner to give him his gifts and to visit.  What an amazing man he is...he has done SO much in his life!

my brother snapped this picture of a picture frame Grandpa has up in his room...this is probably a FAVORITE of my Grandma and Grandpa!  Such wonderful memories :)  This was taken at their house in Florida one of they years we were there for Thanksgiving.

Somebody was getting sleepy, but was such a good boy at Grandpa's!

As we walked out of Grandpa's it was SNOWING!!  My dad was going to take J and Grandpa in her van to the restaurant, both in their wheelchairs, sooo we were nevous about the roads, but everything was fine.  We ate at a great restaurant (that apparently we had been to before and I have NO recollection!).  It was not the most relaxing dinner though...Landon would NOT sit in his highchair, but for more than 2 minutes.  SOOO between my dad, Keith, and I we chased Landon the whole time we were there.  Always fun!

We were hoping to get back to mom's, get the kids down, so we could head to church, but it was too late.  I said one year we'll be able to make it... :)  Now to see if Santa was able to make a quick pit stop at Mum-Mum and Pop-Pop's!!!

Trip to NY

Well our LONG journey began bright and early Thursday morning.  To break up the trip we went to PA first and then Friday morning we were up bright and early to head to Rochester...another 6 hours in the car...tis the season ;)

making some pancakes with Pop-Pop on Friday morning!

Landon is obsessed with Mickey right now!  LOVES "mick-mick" :)  We spotted these jammies at Walmart and he just had to have them...even though they're about 2 sizes too big!

Being such a good man on the car ride!

Such a sweet traveler!

Our captain :)

I am USUALLY sandwiched between the two kiddos in the back of the van and the front seat is filled...there was a centimeter for me to move up front for some "fresh air" so I took the opportunity!

After a quick stop at a Panera SOMEWHERE in northern PA, we FINALLY made it to Aunt Kristin's house!  The cousins warmed up to each other right away, which was so sweet.

Kristin planned to have a few family members over for a delicious turkey dinner on Friday night.  It was great to see some of Keith's family!

Although Friday night proved to be a bit of a long night (kids up, Keith on the sofa coughing up a lung, once one child fell asleep the other was up...always fun) Reagan's prayer (literally, she prayed for snow!!!) was answered!!!  We woke up to a BEAUTIFUL snowfall!!  They probably got about 3ish inches, maybe more...it was hard to tell because it was blowing like crazy.  Everyone was SO excited!

Sweet man's first look at snow!

Alex was out shoveling early!!

The girls played so well together on the laptop waiting for Tom to get back from his mom's house who happened to have plenty of snow gear for my southern children :)

Landon was lovin' sister's Rapunzel slippers!
(These will be GREAT one day to look back on...I know he'll love me for these!)

Sweet heads...Reagan was teaching them all about "Minnie's Bow-tique" on the iPad!

All bundled and READY!!

Marshmallow man!

Ummm...let's just say we have a summer lovin' beach girl on our hands!!  She lasted all of 2.2 seconds outside :)  Keith said she made a snow angel and that was about all she was interested in...in her defense it was VERY cold and VERY windy!  Landon LOVED it though and cried when it was time to come in.

After lunch, which was Pontillo's Pizza, (Keith's fave!!) we did Christmas with the cousins.  They were all so cute.  Reagan scored some great new dress up goodies as part of her gifts!

Saturday night was Keith's family's annual Christmas party.  The kiddos looked so cute...Landon was NOT having it getting in the picture.  They had a blast at the party, even though we were way past bedtime!  I changed the kids into their jammies at the party, which worked out because they fell sound asleep on the way back to Kristin's and never woke up until the next morning!  Yes, we all got a MUCH better night's sleep on Saturday...phew!

We left Sunday around noon to head back to PA for Christmas!  It was a long drive and quick trip, but we're so thankful we were able to be with Keith's family and celebrate Christmas with them.

Preschool Christmas Program!

On Wednesday, December 22 Reagan had her little preschool Christmas program.  It was SO cute!  The kids did great and it was the perfect way to wrap up the "year" at school before Christmas!

We got there a little early to get good seats and then they were all running a little late...thank goodness goldfish and all of my coupons in my purse kept this sweet man busy!

Cheeeeeeese!

Each class did an individual verse from a song and then they all got together to sing a couple at the end!  How precious are they!? :)

Preschool Christmas Party!

Monday was Reagan's school Christmas party!  Thankfully, Landon was able to hang out with Daddy at the bank while I went to help set up and stay at the party.  The kids were so cute and had a great time!

Reagan's teachers are amazing!  We are soooo lucky to have them :)  They kiddos started by painting salt dough star ornaments with gold glitter paint.

So proud of her final product!

All the kiddos got a Christmas oreo to put frosting on and sprinkles...along with some fruit and goldfish too!

Reagan was RIGHT THERE with Ms. Diana while she opened up her gifts from the class!

One of the mom's made these ADORABLE aprons for the teachers!

Ms. Diana and Ms. Carole got each kiddo a book!

This is the CUTEST Christmas gift ever!  The amount of time the kids (and teachers!) put into this is precious!  They made the little reindeer out of their foot and hands then fingerprinted the little lights on the top.  One of the teachers SEWED this beautiful pillow for each of us too!  It's just too cute!!  I will cherish it forever :)  The little gift bag was decorated by the kids and they had a little gift tag on it that is the child's picture.  A favorite verse is on the back, "Every good and perfect gift is from above.  James 1:17"

Besties!
