Highland Orchards!

Today we went on a "field trip" to Highland Orchards!  It was so fun and the kiddos were SO excited to actually PICK their OWN apples!

I know they're mine, but I just think they are some stinkin' cute kiddos!

So excited to be there, as Reagan's giving us a little booty dance ;)

Just pure joy,

and such happiness!

This girl was a pumping machine today!  For the first time today she was REALLY pumping GREAT!  She was getting so high :)  So proud of my big girl!!

Apple picking!  We picked a bag full of fujis today

Landon was so entertained tossing that apple up and down in his snack container, while Reagan was loving on Tobin, and Tobin's trying to get an apple... :)  We crashed Heath's playdate today, but thankfully they didn't seem to mind a few extras!

After we picked our apples we headed to a local park to play because the bugs were so bad near the orchard.  We played there for awhile, where Reagan mastered the monkey bars!!!!, and then headed back to the orchard for some lunch.  We had seen a sign earlier that said "Dollar Dogs" so Reagan had it in her head we'd get hot dogs for lunch...sounded like a deal to me :)

We wound up having a picnic in the back of the van because, again, the bugs were so bad!!

Yup, just sippin' on some apple juice and eatin' her hot dog...in the back of the mini van...doesn't get better than that :)

I don't think I've ever actually picked apples before, so it was a pretty fun day for all of us today!  The apples were used to make a delicious batch of applesauce tonight and I see an apple cake in our very near future!
