Thanksgiving 2013!

Happy Thanksgiving 2013!!  It was a wonderful Thanksgiving and we have so very much to be thankful for.  I try to always remember all that we have and how blessed we are, but when a certain day is set aside for it, you try to really reflect and appreciate it all.  I saw a quote on a church bulletin board that said "Count your blessings AND make your blessings count"  I love that and will always keep that in the back of my mind.

Thanksgiving morning started with breakfast and the parade!  Mum-Mum and Pop-Pop left for Chicago and we were awaiting Opa's arrival from Rochester.  Once he got here we hopped in the car and headed to Middletown to show him the house.  There wasn't too much different since we were there the previous Saturday, but we did have some walls up :)

We are SO thankful for this house and that in just about 2 months it will be ours!

This is the family room

I'm pretty sure Keith was standing in the kitchen when he took this picture...the kids and I were back in the car already because it was freezing!!

We got home, had lunch, Landon napped, and we were on our way to Aunt Linda and Uncle Gus' for Thanksgiving!

Aunt Linda found some of Jake's old cars in the basement and Landon was in hog heaven playing with them...he even got to bring them home so we now have about 20 more cars in our collection.  A boy and his cars!

my precious cousins, Emily and Jake...are they not the cutest!? :)

The Kepplinger boys!

Pops was put in charge of carving...yummmm o!

our pretty failed attempts at a family pic...

Reagan lovin' her some Emily!

Em french braided Reagan's hair...just like I used to do for Em!

Aunt Linda lit the menorah while we were there.  She was so sweet and got the kids a candy filled dreidel and some chocolate coins.  They loved helping!

Oh and our Thanksgiving would not have been complete without another game of Thanksgiving Trivia like we played last year.  Reagan remembered it all year and would randomly ask me if we could play again this year :)  I'll need a few new questions next year!
