The Saturday before school started was a special day for the boys and the girls! Landon was excited to go the Toughkenamon Airshow with Keith, Pop-Pop, and Mop (who came on their way home from Lake George!). Reagan had a special date with Mommy at a girly salon for a pre-school makeover :)
Someone was excited!
(After his meet the teacher on Thursday, he said he wasn't feeling so good...turns out he had a fever, no other symptoms, but it was the 3rd fever in the last month for this boy. I am a total nervous nelly and finally took him to the doctor on Friday for a check. Everything looked fine, doctor said it was a virus. Now for school in Delaware all kids have to have their lead levels check via bloodwork...so since we had to do that anyway, I asked that we do a general blood check and lymes test just to make sure everything was okay. Needless to say the weekend seemed to crawl waiting for the results on Monday, which we were SO very thankful to hear that everything was fine! ...Anyway...his fever was gone by the airshow day and he was a happy man!)
Excited for a fun day!
Pedicure first!
Then the manicure...
...followed by make-up...
and hair!
Pretty girl!
After her appointment, we were able to meet Mum-Mum, Gigi, and JJ for lunch at Hartefeld! It was so nice, except JJ really wasn't feeling well. She had been to the ER the week before for apparent kidney stones and something just wasn't feeling right at lunch, poor thing!
The rest of the afternoon/evening didn't go exactly as planned because poor J was in SO much pain we took her to the ER to get some meds to control her pain. At this point they still assumed it was the kidney stone causing her discomfort. The next night J was BACK in the ER for pain and this time admitted to figure out exactly what was going on. She is, now, FINALLY out, but was in for almost 2 weeks! So thankful our JJ is feeling better now :)
