What a fun weekend we had! It was busy, but that is not a bad thing at all :)
Friday afternoon Chef Reagan was hard at work in the kitchen. She was so cute, obviously totally accessorized!
Wanted to pose near the little tree
EEEEZEEE!! Love him!! Yes, he set up this princess tea party himself...he's secure with his masculinity!
Saturday morning we decided was a good day to go see Santa at the mall! We got there just about at 10, THINKING it wouldn't such a line at Santa, but of course, I was wrong. It wasn't terrible, about 20 minutes. I KNEW I should have just done the fast pass, oh well...it was fine and Landon had fun climbing all over the place while we waited :)
Superstar! She looks 8 in this picture....slow down sister!
(SUPER pumped this outfit from last year still fit her...it's a little shorter, but she can still rock it for one more holiday season!)
Sweet boy...Keith appologizes over and over to Landon when I put him in these cutsie outfits...he thinks they are so stupid...oh well Daddy! I say I'm going to dress him like this as long as I can...and he looks PRECIOUS if you ask me! :)
Well....here we go again...another FAMILY shot with Santa. ha! I think Landon would have been fine, but we just didn't mess and Santa insisted we sit with him. This is the first year though that Reagan was SO excited and not scared for a second! She did great. She told Santa that she wanted a doll with lipstick and eyeshadow...sure hope Santa pulls through with that one ;)
After we finished with Santa we had some time to kill before Chic Fil A, so we did a little shopping around, rode the train and some rides, the usual. We were on our way out and someone said to go see Santa in the children's department, sooo we did. Well it turns out they were having a little fashion show first. Reagan thought that sounded like fun to watch. One of the employees heard her say that and said, "well you are just so pretty, would you like to be a model in the fashion show?!" You KNOW Reagan's answer...she was in heaven! It was so cute. They let the girls pick out ANY outfit in Belk to wear for the fashion show, right off the rack. Reagan picked out a dress and then one of the ladies picked out socks and shoes, we got there with like 2 minutes to spare. It was just so fun and Reagan had a blast!! We had to fill out a little "information" sheet about her that they read while she was on stage. Oh...so while I was getting R changed Keith and Landon ran out to the van because I just HAPPENED to have my camera...thank goodness!!
We also accessorized with a pearl headband, pearl necklace, and pearl bracelet! She picked the dress out herself and just LOVED it!
waiting in line...
her modeling debut!
She walked up on that stage and did a spin and everything...it was so cute, I had tears in my eyes!
Too cute!
When we got home Landy napped and R rested for a bit and then we were going out with Brooklyn and her brother and momma. We went to a little winter festival in town and then ran a couple errands before going to the church where the girls go to preschool for a "Journey to Bethlehem." It was AHHHMAZING! They transformed the church grounds, thankfully it wasn't too cold! The amount of work they put into this is unreal...what a cool way to really start the CHRISTmas season. It was awesome!
We had to wait about 15 minutes for our "tribe" to be called so they had coloring and cookies while we waited. Reagan plowed through some cookies, especially liking the sugar cookies with the big icing on top...yum! She's a mess!
The dads and Landon were hanging out at home, so we came back and had pizza with them. It was a late night for the kiddos, but very fun!
This afternoon was the Rolesville Christmas parade...yahoo! I really do love this tradition in our small little town. However, I took Reags last year and Keith took her this year. I stayed home with L while he napped and I was able to get lots done around the house. They had a good time together, although I guess it lasted a little too long and a little someone was getting antsy. :)
Overall a great weekend! Reags is pumped for school this week because she is going to be the "Super Duck!" That means she is line leader and also gets to bring in snack. They are always "Super Duck" for their birthday week, but since they'll be out of school for R's bday, they are celebrating her half-birthday. Fun times! Their theme is Rudolph this week, so we have some fun snacks planned :)
