Last Day of Preschool 2014!

Friday was the LAST DAY of preschool!  I can hardly believe the school year is over!  I remember that first day like yesterday...I was SO nervous for Reagan, who knew NO ONE, a brand new school, and she went in with confidence and LOVED it!  Then there was Landon man who CRIED and CRIED every time he went to school for months and he ended the year LOVING school, his "fends," and his teachers!  I am SO glad we decided to keep them in their preschool even when we moved.  Leaving by 8:00 three mornings a week and driving an hour each way wasn't ideal, but it worked, and the kids didn't even seem to know a difference!  What a great year!  Now I have a KINDERGARTENER and a THREE YEAR OLD preschooler!!   We're ready for summer!

There was special program at school where each class sang a couple songs and then all the kids sang two songs at the end.  It was precious!

Reagan's sweet class

They didn't have an official graduation, but there was a recognition for all the kiddos heading to Kindergarten in the fall.  They hugged their teacher and got a special certificate!

Landon's little class was so cute...they "sang," but most just sat there!

Singing!  ...the little man next to Landon REALLY wanted his Mommy...

...still wanted his Mommy...and Landon just sat there :)

all the kids singing at the end..."if you're happy and you know it!"

Miss Maira and Miss Natalie with Landon

After the celebration there was to be a big picnic lunch, but it was POURING outside!!  So it all got moved inside, which worked out just fine.

The summer calendar is filling up very quickly with all kinds of fun stuff!  I'm so proud of our kiddos for such a great school year :)

Such a Helper!

On Thursday night we went to Lowe's to pick up a few things to plant in our front landscaping.  Reagan was SO excited to help Daddy...she really looks the part huh?  This is her gardening outfit...she had a flower dress on with flower flip flops...obviously it was the right choice!

Landon Man

I LOVE this kid!  He is just the sweetest thing...he can drive me totally crazy, but is always looking out for his Momma and is almost always willing to give me a smooch when I ask for one.  I am SO blessed with this little man!!
rockin' a clip!

Landon is still 3 months from being 3, but he talks about his party a lot...he gets that from his sister :)  He, as of now, wants a firetruck party.  He LOVES to watch "trucky videos" on the iPad.  He knows just what to do...he goes to one of his trucks games, holds down the "watch trailor" icon for 3 seconds, and it takes him to YouTube.  All kinds of truck videos come up and he LOVES watching them!!  He is obsessed!

He also has slight OCD, which he gets honestly :)  For being the rough and tumble boy that he is, he still likes the shoe bins to be pushed all the way in the bench where they go and likes things a certain way.  I look at this as a positive thing...and his wife will thank me one day :)

He loves playing with his trucks, making me pretend food out of rocks at t-ball games, playing outside, riding his bikes, running, playing in the dirt, reading books, coloring with markers, and playing soccer.

Landon melts our hearts and is such a sweet little man!

Mother's Day Weekend

Last Saturday we had a baby shower to go to for Pop-Pop's daughter, Katey, who is due in a few weeks with a sweet baby girl.  Gran and Gramps came to our house first and then the girls were off to the shower!

Someone had a tiny little baby there and Reagan was LOVING that sweet baby!!

Sunday morning Keith made us a big breakfast!  We were in a slight rush though because Reagan had a t-ball game.

somehow this is the only picture I have with my babes from Mother's Day

Reagan had a great game!  She is really working hard and going for the ball.  Each week someone is picked to get a metal for doing a great job that day and really doing their best.  Reagan was picked by her coach that day as the recipient and she was SOOO excited!  We were so proud of her!

It was even a day Gigi and Gramps were there to watch :)

Once we got back from tball we got ready for lunch with Jamie, Mike, my mom, and John.  It's so fun being close enough to host now!  (although I guess it means I don't take pictures, because I took none!!)  It was a great day!

By that afternoon I was beat and just wanted to watch some Guilliana and Bill in bed ;)  Someone wanted to hang out with momma though...sweet girl!  Oh and my necklace was made by Landon at school, isn't it pretty?  When he gave it to me he said, "you yike it momma?" So precious and yes Landon, I LOVE it!

It was a great day and I am so thankful for my two sweet little blessings.

Let there be grass!

posing after school last Monday!

Tuesday was a BIG DAY around here!  We got our front and side sod and the backyard got seeded.  FINALLY!!!  It was NO fun taking a dog out with no grass to go potty in.  Landon was LOVING all the dirt, Reaggie too, but I was NOT loving all the mess that it brought in the house.  We were SOO happy to see the guys here giving us grass and seed!!

checking it all out...AKA in heaven with the machines here!

that afternoon they had projects to work on :)

We made a little family trip to Lowe's to check out some bushes and of course we had to swing by the lawn mowers.  We found this catalog of lawn mowers and Landon loved it...we have "read" it everyday since!

Tuesday afternoon we came home to sod and tiny little bushes in our landscaping :)  It looks SOOO much nicer!

posing after ballet at Mum-Mum and Pop-Pop's!

Bailey snuggles :)

Last Friday Keith was golfing, so the kiddos and I went out for pizza.  It is crazy to me that we are FINALLY at an age where I can take them out to eat and it's not complete chaos!

Flower Market Fun!

Last Thursday we headed to the Wilmington Flower Market!  I had never been and was so excited to check it out.  It was not the nicest day that morning, sprinkling and chilly, but we went anyway and it was the perfect day to go!!

It was such a fun day with fun friends!  We had a great time and can't wait to go back again next year!
